I almost want to see Ultraviolet just to see how bad this could possibly be. But I know that sounds better in my mind than the execution of it. A bad movie is just kak for the soul. I mean, not even Milla could make save Resident Evil 2. Which is way too frakking bad since Resident Evil the first is just wonderful. They should have gone back underground. A “contained” environment is more fun for sci-fi horror (ie Alien/s, The Thing, Predator).

You realize that you, and people like you, are the reason bad movies are made. :-)

Alone is the Dark was an ok movie, but the ending is what sealed its fate. The last 20 minutes or so was all about the killings and nothing about the plot. I’ve heard Slater is already signed to the sequel.

The Covenant was actually pretty good in that “teen witchcraft with hot guys” way. Think the Craft meets The O.C. set at a teen prep school in Massachusetts.

House of the Dead was pretty laughable and lame, though a few of the killings were well done. The parts where they kicked into video game mode were really horrible. And yet — they made a sequel. Go figure.

UltraViolet is one I’m waiting for cable for.

I guess I have a higher tolerance for bad films than most. LOL
