ESPN.com has a nice article on Lute Olson as he prepares for his 24th season as the Wildcats head coach.

It’s easy to be a fan of the Wildcat basketball team. They are always in contention for the Pac-10 championship and many years they are national championship contenders. But the best thing about being a Wildcat fan is that they run a tight program that reflects the integrity of their head coach.

I’m proud to be a fan. Of the team and the man.

The Cowboys of the 90s are remembered for Aikman, Irvin and Smith. Don’t forget Hershel Walker had a lot to do with that because his trade brought the picks that became, as the NFL.com says, the second greatest draft class ever.

I grew up in Alabama and I’ll always be a fan of the Crimson Tide. I randomly ran across this clip at YouTube.com. It was really cool leaning about how The Tide went from being an all white squad in decline to a mixed race team back on top of the NCAA.

Overall the article was ho-hum. But the last one definitely gets a LOL.

Is this the longest play in football history? Given enough games stuff like this is bound to happen. Pretty amazing to see when it does.
