77millionPaintings.com is a work of generative art by Brian Eno, or so he says himself.
It seems like what’s happening here is using Flash to randomly fade between a set of images. I’m not sure this is what I would call generative art but given that the world isn’t black and white and so neither is generative art then I’d say that this is slightly generative art.

The Algorithmist asked Flex developers who have switched from Windows to Macs recently what their experience has been like.
There’s a nice collection of comments going that’s worth reading if you, like myself, are thinking about making the switch.

A NASA video about how virtual worlds can enhance our physical world. Very inspiring.

There are two kinds of people in this world. Those who can’t wait for automated vehicles so that they can get into a car and have it drive them to their desired destination. And those people who love to drive and don’t ever want to see automated vehicles.
I personally think that the latter group are the ones who need automated cars the most.
And that day just got a little closer. The Carnegie Mellon’s computer-laden Chevy Tahoe - Boss - won DARPA’s Urban Challenge.
There is obviously a long way to go before we have fully automated cars on the road but with todays problems with traffic and fuel consumption I can’t think of any technological advancement - outside of flying cars - that can help improve our daily lives more.
