Dan Florio is a freelance Adobe Flash/Flex/AIR and all ’round Actionscript guru. He lives in Crestline, California with his wife Jill and two dogs, Frodo and Angel.

Dan has solved differential equations, worked as a professional massage therapist, live in his car for four months while working for Microsoft, hiked many trails in the Grand Canyon, driven across the U.S. more times than he can count and lived in more places than most people have visited.

He worked at Space Academy in Huntsville, Alabama, and at Space Camp at Kennedy Space Center in Florida.

He can recite Samuel Coleridge’s poem Kubla Khan from memory.

He types over 80 words a minute on a Dvorak keyboard, has swam with dolphins in the wild, played basketball with future NBA players, lived in the mountains of Central Italy and went to school at Swansea, Wales in the United Kingdom.
